DAY 1 Travelling by Eurostar Plus from London St Pancras to Brussels, then onwards in First Class to Wurzburg and our overnight hotel, the AC Hotel, where we check in and enjoy our first evening meal together. (D) DAY 2 After breakfast this morning, we take the train to Munich where our guide meets us for our fascinating walking tour of the Old Town to explore the highlights of this beautiful Bavarian city and learn of its history from our guide. Afterwards, we make our way to the Courtyard Hotel, our hotel for the next four nights, where we check in and enjoy an evening at leisure. (B) DAY 3 Today, we journey by train to the historic city of Augsburg for our guided tour including a visit to the remarkable Fuggerei , a city within a city, and the oldest existing social housing estate in the world where the annual rent is 88 cents! We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Augsburg Railway Park which houses an extensive collection of historic locomotives, and we enjoy a guided tour before returning to Munich for an evening at leisure. (B,L) DAY 4 This morning, we board our private coach to explore the stunning Linderhof Palace & Park , the only fairytale palace of King Ludwig II that he lived to see completed. After soaking in the beauty of the interiors and strolling the gardens, we enjoy our lunch in the charming town of Oberammergau before our guided tour of the famous Oberammergau Theatre , home of the renowned Passion Play. We will learn the fascinating history of this play that is performed

only once every ten years – a truly memorable Bavarian experience! (B,L) DAY 5 Today, we travel by train across the border to Salzburg in Austria and we begin our visit with a guided walking tour of the city to discover the old town, city mountains, and cultural diversity of this beautiful city. Afterwards, we enjoy free time to explore further perhaps visiting the birthplace of Mozart or the film locations of ‘The Sound of Music’ before we return by train to Munich. (B) DAY 6 After breakfast this morning, we begin our journey back to Wurzburg and return to the AC Hotel for our overnight stay. This afternoon, we visit a traditional wine cellar where we indulge in a delightful tour and tasting ahead of our final evening meal together at a local restaurant. (B,D) DAY 7 We bid farewell to Wurzburg and to Germany, returning by rail to Brussels, where we will join the Eurostar Plus service to London St Pancras. (B)
