leisurely cruise to the southern tip of Lake Windemere. We then board our vintage steam train to journey through the picturesque Vale of Leven to the village of Haverthwaite . In the afternoon take a trip down memory lane with a visit to the Lakeland Motor Museum , complete with a 1920’s garage, 1950’s café and over 140 classic cars and motorbikes plus, the fascinating Campbell Bluebird Exhibition. We then return aboard our private coach to Grange-over-Sands. (B,D) DAY 4 Today we travel by train from Grange over-Sands and discover stunning seascapes and beautiful scenery as we head north to Ravenglass on the Cumbrian Coast. Here we enjoy a return journey on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Steam Railway to Dalegarth, where we will disembark for a short break before our 40 minute return steam journey. On arrival back at Ravenglass we enjoy a guided museum tour telling the 150 year history of the railway, affectionally known as the

DAY 2 This morning we travel by train along the wonderful Cumbria coastline from Grange-over-Sands to Carnforth, here we enjoy a brief visit to the restored 1940’s Station Heritage Centre from the scene of the famous film “Brief Encounter”. We continue by private coach to the traditional seaside resort of Morecambe where we have free time to relax and take a stroll along the

seafront promenade. In the afternoon we travel to the historic yet homely, L eighton Hall for a guided tour and traditional afternoon tea . We return to our hotel by train from Carnforth.
