Set sail on the Seine River and relax on a full board cruise to discover impressive architecture and rich cultural heritage on this wonderful itinerary from Honfleur to Paris. Discover Honfleur’s picturesque port, explore Monet’s charming home, visit the famous monuments of France’s vibrant capital, immerse yourself in history in Rouen and admire the magnificent Château de Fontainebleau.

DAY 1 We depar t London St Pancras by Eurostar, speeding across Kent and towards France. Our Eurostar terminates at Paris and we transfer to Honfleur . We board our ship late afternoon and settle into our cabins before our welcome cocktail reception and dinner. (D) DAY 2 This morning, we begin our day with a guided walking tour of Honfleur . During our tour we discover how a harbour built for trade evolved into the bir thplace of Impressionism.We can enjoy free time to explore the picturesque por t, historic museums, and timeless cafés during our stay. This afternoon, we have the oppor tunity to purchase an optional excursion (payable on board) along the Côte Fleuri with visits to Trouville and Deauville and a Calvados distillery. (B,L,D) DAY 3 After our buffet breakfast we enjoy a guided walking tour of Rouen , the “City of 100 Bell Towers”. The city has been the central to many notable events in French History and Joan of Arc, Gustave Flauber t, Pierre Corneille, Claude Monet, and William the Conqueror have all left played their part in the history of the city. In the afternoon, we have the oppor tunity to purchase an optional excursion along the Norman Abbey Circuit to see the exceptional religious heritage in the region. The interesting sites we discover include the village of Jumiège and the ruins of one of the most magnificent abbeys in France, as well as the Benedictine Abbey of Saint Wandrille. After we return to our ship we cruise to our next destination and enjoy dinner and an evening of enter tainment. Impressionism. During the tour we visit his famous studio, admire the Japanese bridge and famous waterlily pond. In the afternoon we return to our ship and as we cruise, we see the landscape slowly change from countryside to urban as we approach the City of Lights. Our ship will cruise by the impressive futuristic business district of La Defense. In the evening, we cruise along the Seine to take in the city by night (water level permitting). (B,L,D) DAY 5 This morning we enjoy a panoramic tour of Paris to see the most famous sites in the French capital including La Bastille, the Louvre and its Pyramid, Palais Garnier, Place Vendôme, Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides, theTrocadéro and of course, the Eiffel Tower. Following our wonderful tour, we reboard our ship and cruise to Melun this afternoon. (B,L,D) DAY 6 Today we enjoy a visit to the Château de Fontainebleau , one of the largest royal châteaux in France, to explore its lavish interiors and 130 hectares of parklands and gardens. In the afternoon we return to our ship and spend the afternoon cruising before we enjoy our gala dinner. (B,L,D)
