DAY 4 This morning, we wake in the historic city of Speyer and, after breakfast, we enjoy a guided tour of this remarkable imperial city. We will discover impressive facades, romantic squares, and the fantastic cathedral that towers over the city centre with time to explore the local shops before returning to the MS VIVA MOMENTS. (B,L,D) DAY 5 Today, the enchanting city of Strasbourg awaits with its idyllic half-timbered houses and picturesque landmarks which we will visit on our tour of the city learning the exciting history of these famous locations.We will have plenty of photo opportunities along the way of the most important sights. DAY 6 It’s Christmas Eve and we arrive in Mainz early in the afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore the special sights, numerous monuments, delightful fountains, and spacious parks. There will be an opportunity to visit St Martins Cathedral for a Christmas service. (B,L,D) DAY 7 Merry Christmas! For Christmas Day, we cruise from Mainz via the picturesque town of Rüdesheim to Koblenz and, along the way, we will enjoy a Christmas programme (to be advised closer to departure) plus a delicious, locally themed Christmas lunch to celebrate the special day.
