DAY 3 Today, we travel by rail to the charming town of Bern, Switzerland’s capital. Here, we enjoy a guided tour and stroll through the UNESCO Old Town, marvelling at the Zytglogge clock tower and the Cathedral of Bern, and taking time for lunch. Afterwards, we continue to Thun to set sail on Lake Thun , nestled against an imposing mountain backdrop, returning to Interlaken in time for our evening meal together. (B,D) DAY 4 Today, we experience one of the most amazing rail journeys in Switzerland as we travel by train and cable car to the summit of the Schilthorn – the ‘James Bond’ mountain. We have free time to visit the revolving Piz Gloria Restaurant, Bond World, 007 Walk of Fame, and the Piz Gloria View embedded in a beautiful mountain environment with views of more than 200 Alpine peaks. Afterwards, we return to Interlaken and our hotel to enjoy our final evening meal together. (B,D) DAY 5 We bid farewell to Interlaken and to Switzerland, returning by rail to Brussels, where we will join the Eurostar service to London St Pancras. (B)
