DAY 6 Today, we enjoy a leisurely day in Jersey where we can maybe walk via the Howard Davis Park for shopping in central St Helier or take the hop-on/hop-off bus for visits to amazing attractions such as the world-famous Durrell Wildlife Park. Alternatively, we can visit the fascinating Jersey War Tunnels, a partially completed underground hospital complex in St Lawrence, built by German forces during the occupation of Jersey during World War II. After our day of exploration, we will reconvene at the hotel for our evening meal together. (B,D) DAY 7 After breakfast today, we begin our full day ‘Round Island’ excursion which includes the beautiful bay of St Brelade, a sweeping bay whose golden sands have been voted within the top three beaches of Britain.We journey along Jersey’s beautiful west coast visiting St Ouen’s Bay, the charming harbour village of St Aubin’s, and the exquisite Jersey Pearl. We also see the iconic Corbiere Lighthouse, perched on a rock just off the island’s southwestern shore, before returning to the hotel in time for our evening meal. (B,D) DAY 8 After a leisurely morning, we depart for Poole aboard Condor Ferries* and, on arrival, we transfer to the Queens Hotel in Bournemouth where we enjoy our final evening meal together. (D) DAY 9 After breakfast, we bid farewell to Bournemouth and make our way to the station for our homeward journeys.
