W inchester C hristmas C elebration Experience the festive season in style on this relaxing tour in the historic city of Winchester staying in the elegant Winchester Royal Hotel. Explore this medieval city, visit the magnificent Cathedral in all its festive glory, discover the iconic Spinnaker Tower, and indulge in a wonderful, traditional Christmas Day lunch. DAY 1

followed by tea, coffee, and Christmas cake. This evening, we relax, soak in the remainder of this festive atmosphere, and enjoy a buffet-style meal. (B,L,D) DAY 4 Today, we enjoy a morning at leisure and enjoy our lunch together before meeting a local guide for a fascinating walking tour through the heart of Winchester. We will discover the key historical sights of this medieval city admiring the architecture and visiting the magnificent Winchester Cathedral*. On our return to the hotel, we will enjoy our final evening meal together. (B,L,D) DAY 5 After breakfast, we bid farewell to Winchester and make our way to the station for our homeward journeys. Journey from your home station to Winchester and, on arrival, we will make our way to the Winchester Royal Hotel, our hotel for the next four nights. We enjoy an afternoon tea and free time to explore our new surroundings before meeting for our first evening meal together. (LR,D) DAY 2 After breakfast this morning, we take the train to Portsmouth where we have some free time at Gunwharf Quays for some last-minute Christmas shopping or take a wintry walk across the harbour. We visit the Spinnaker Tower and explore this iconic landmark and skywalk offering fantastic views before we indulge in delicious high tea at The Clouds Café – 105m above the harbour! Afterwards, we return to the hotel in time for our evening meal together. (B,L,D) DAY 3 Merry Christmas! After a leisurely breakfast, the morning is free to relax or enjoy a stroll through the city before savouring a wonderful traditional Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings
