of their unique signature single malt. We return to Fort William and enjoy dinner followed by live entertainment from a solo artist. (B,D) DAY 3 After a leisurely morning in Fort William our Railtrail adventure continues as we travel by train to Mallaig, journeying over the impressive Glenfinnan Viaduct, capturing the views of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s monument, Loch Shiel and Loch Eilt, before the line turns north with astonishing vistas to the Atlantic coastline of white sands. There is free time for lunch and to explore the harbour town of Mallaig, with its majestic views across to the Isle of Skye, before we return to Fort William by rail enjoying dramatic and captivating winter scenes. We have time to relax before our evening meal followed by entertainment. (B,D) DAY 4 The beautiful rail journey from Fort William back to Glasgow concludes our holiday for those returning by rail, passing across remote moors and through the glens to Loch Lomond and finally along the shores of the Clyde as we approach Glasgow for homeward trains.
