Royal Crescent, Circus, Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge and of course the Roman Baths built in around 70AD as a grand bathing and socialising complex. The Roman Baths are one of the best-preserved Roman remains in the world, where 1,170,000 litres of steaming spring water, reaching 46°C, still fill the bathing site every single day, we can walk on ancient pavements as the Romans did 2,000 years ago, and explore chambers historically housing changing rooms and plunge pools. During our day we can even swim in the natural spring water at the modern Thermae Bath Spa. Our pre-Christmas break is also the perfect time to indulge in festive shopping at some of the city’s many unique shops or alternatively we can travel by train to nearby Bristol and visit the wonderful Bristol Christmas market.
