Railtrail Annual Brochure 2018 UK

Here is our 2018 brochure, packed with UK holiday ideas in this half, as well as an ever- growing programme of European tours on the flip side. Over the past couple of years we have tried to spread the word a little more about our family business by attending public events. One comment we’ve received is that the golden italic script in our logo isn’t always easy to read, so we have experimented a little. Our UK front cover this year retains the traditional Railtrail look, whereas our European front cover gives a glimpse of how we intend to look in future, using a typeface very familiar to anyone with even a passing interest in railways. We hope you like it. In this UK section you will find all the old favourites, including Railtrail’s original tour, Romantic Highlander , staying at the hotel we used on our first ever tour 38 years ago. We’ve got the UK well covered from Caithness to Cornwall, but look out for one or two new ideas too. The Inner Hebridean Island Hopper does

what the name suggests, hopping from Arran to the Mull of Kintyre to Islay, Mull and Iona, whereas Jersey, Guernsey, Herm & Sark hops between the Channel Islands on another unique Railtrail tour. Look out too for our Grand Tours by Rail in the centre of the brochure, with new addition Six Wonders of the Waterways but don’t forget that space is limited and they fill quickly.
