42 YEARS

As we contemplate the forthcoming year ahead “ L et’s go!” will probably be amongst the most popular words spoken. Personally speaking, I don’t think that I have ever faced a more challenging time than the past two years which is why my mind is set on travelling in 2022 and enjoying to the full what life has to offer, and I imagine that you may well be feeling the same. Our Platinum Trusted Service award from client feedback company FeeFo is rich reward for the quality of our tours and our handling of the pandemic where we took the fundamental decision to put our clients and team members before profit. We kept our Customer Care phone lines open to answer your queries, we put back balance of payment dates so that you weren’t asked to unnecessarily pay for your tour when we were unable to guarantee it running, and above all else when tours were cancelled we offered an immediate full cash refund. Perhaps this is all worth bearing in mind Your Tour Fare... UK Tours – The UK tour fares shown in this booklet are the fares for joining at the tour hotel. However, we do offer tour packages that include rail travel from every station in the UK with your choice of Standard or First class seats (where available). Limited space in this booklet precludes our including all fares here however they can be found in our 2022 main brochure mailed to you in October, or on our website at www.railtrail.co.uk (where online bookings are available 24/7, or by telephoning our friendly Customer Care team who will be delighted to help you. European Tours – All the travel options for our European tours can be found on our website, in our 2022 main brochure, or by giving us a call. The tour fares shown in this booklet are for travelling standard class and joining the tour at London St Pancras International.

when making your decision on who to travel with in 2022. I am also proud to say that we protected our knowledge and expertise by making no-one redundant, even though we were unable to earn income. Railtrail Tours is a family-owned company where the customer really does come first and our ethos of providing excellent tours and service lives up to our motto of… Big on quality, small enough to care! I sincerely hope we will have the pleasure of your company in 2022. Kind Regards,

Dave Felstead , Creator & Managing Director, Railtrail Tours Ltd

Railtrail Rewards Loyalty We genuinely feel that our tours, staff and service are the best and that is why our clients choose Railtrail Tours for their holiday. In addition to this on return from your tour we reward your loyalty via our ‘Railtrail Rewards’ Loyalty Points scheme. The more loyalty points you earn, the greater the discount you will receive on your next tour booking – no other escorted rail holiday company operates such a scheme.

Double Loyalty Points on all tours booked before the end of January

Announcing – Free Spirit tour option We are aware that whilst our escorted tours are extremely popular sometimes you may be unable to travel on the escorted tour departure dates, or you wish to enjoy the tour in your own time and at your own pace. Therefore, for a trial period we have created the Free Spirit option on a small selection of our UK and Switzerland tour destinations. When you see the logo against a tour it means that we may be able to offer you the tour, at a bespoke fare, to travel independently on a departure date of your choice and at your own pace perhaps even extending the duration of the tour to include a little more relaxation time. If you feel that this may interest you please, in the first instance, email to enquiry@railtrail.co.uk ... ★ The tour you wish to undertake ★ The number of travellers & room(s) required ★ Date you would like to commence the tour ★ The number of days duration you wish to take for your tour We will acknowledge your initial request within 24 hours, make the relevant enquiries with our suppliers then contact you direct within 7 days.
